The Saber Tooth punch produces a unique claw-like tip to aid expansion, especially when combined with a hollow point and a lead tip. First seat the lead core into a jacket with a HP punch, producing a large deep cavity with exposed lead at the bullet tip. Then use the Saber Tooth punch to produce sharp "teeth" around the edge of the cavity. Finally, shape the bullet in a point forming die. A 3/4-E ogive is most effective. Order to fit your LSWC-1-S die or your CS-1-S die. These are the only appropriate dies for use with the Saber Tooth internal punch.
