PCS-1 Precision Core Cutter mounts to your bench,
and uses a pair of steel dies to support and cut lead wire
in different diameters (specify diameter of the cutter
which you want to come with the die, included in the price).
Additional die inserts (PCS-1D) change the hole size to fit
other sizes of wire in the range of .100 to .365 inches.
For diameters larger than .365, use the PCS-2 Magnum Core
cutter.
Both core cutters use an adjustable stop screw to set the
length of wire that you will cut. Always cut slightly more
weight than you intend to use, so that the core swage die
or LSWC die can bleed off a small amount to make the cores
perfectly uniform.
