LED-1-H Lead Wire Extruder Kit makes high quality lead wire from soft lead. It includes two billet mould tubes and a mounting base, an extruder die body threaded 1.5 x 12 for the Hydro Press head, an extruder punch and adapter for the press ram, and a standard diametera of lead extruder die insert. You can select any standard diameters, and can add additional inserts for other sizes. Custom sizes are made to order at additional cost. A software program called DC-LEAD is available to calculate the length of a given diameter for any billet size, pressure required, and other parameters for extrusion and for core weights for given length and diameter. Select the size of wire from the menu. If you check the custom box, your standard selection will be ignored and whatever you enter as a custom size will be used instead. The extra cost for making the custom die is added when you check the box, so be sure to enter the size you want (don't leave it blank, or we won't know what custom size to make).
