The RLA-H is an adapter which screws into the 7/8-14 top of the RLA-EXT ram extension/adapter in a CSP-2 or CHP-1 press. It allows the use of standard RCBS-type button shell holders for reloading. This is part of the RLA-1-H reloading adapter kit that is supplied with the larger Corbin presses. The T-slot has a spring loaded ball bearing detent which pushes up on the base of the shell holder and secures it in the slot without the gouging and scratching that some spring-wire insert retainers may cause. It also makes a secure grip on the shell holder while still making it easy to remove. Special Note:: This adapter also screws directly into the RCE Walnut Hill press ram, so you can adapt the ram to holding standard RCBS type button shell holders. Some owners of the discontinued Walnut Hill press have asked if we would make a special shell holder adapter for their press. But it isn't necessary. This RLA-H adapter already does it!
