This is a replacement primer pocket swage punch for the primer pocket swaging tool, PT-50-SH. It fits in the CSP-2 Mega-Mite or CHP-1 Hydro-Press along with the rest of the PT-50-SH swage tool. It is offered as a replacement in case a wild boar crashes into your reloading room while you are absent, and swallows the original before fleeing into the deep underbrush. Or more likely, in case of loss or damage by human error (but blame it on a boar anyway). The standard PT-50-H primer tool has too small of a hole to accept the larger primer pocket swage punch, which is why we make the PT-50-SH swage tool (with larger bore). The punch is made of hardened tool steel and fits the PT-50-SH primer pocket swage tool. The purpose is to remove a military primer crimp in the cartridge case, so it can be reloaded with a fresh primer.
