This is a one-stroke, weight-adjusting airgun slug swage die with your custom specifications rather than our standard diameter, ogive shape, ejector pin hollow point sizes, or base design. If we can take a die "off the shelf", assuming we had inventory at the time, and ship it, it would be standard. If you specify dimensions other than the standard, it will require the production of individual shop drawings, setup, and one-off production of one or more parts, new reamers and laps in a different diameter or shape, etc. plus special record keeping requirements into the future for relacement part purposes. All of which takes more time and/or tooling than the standard spec version.
If you want to order a standard specifiation version, look under the PF-1-SP (without the "C" for custom). This will save you money and potentially be quicker since we are more likeliy to be making another standard die from the order list, so your order might be done at the same setup time. There is little to no chance another person will have ordered your exact custom design previously. That is why custom work normally doesn't get the benefit of a quicker delivery based on doing a group of identical dies on one setup along with the oldest order pending.
Please note that anythng left blank will be relaced wth our closest standard dimensions for the caliber you specify. For base shapes, it is difficult to describe a curve in such a way that your idea will mean exactly the same thing to the person making the tooling, so be sure to send a dimensioned drawing. If a dimensioned drawing is not provided, then the best guess at what you mean by "parabolic shape" or "deeper than usual shape" or "pointed coinical shape" will be used. In that case the judgement of the die maker is all we have to go on, and it will have to be acceptable in the absence of any better information. Refering to some commercial brand and saying Just like that isn't enough as we may or may not have one available without spending time and effort finding and ordering a box to measure, and the one that we get may or may not be still the same specs as the one you have. Often there are differences and changes in production and we have no way to tell what you are looking at versus what we just obtained. For that and other reasons it is important to send a drawing with the dimensions you want.
Bear in mind that some shapes and dimensions may not be practical or compatible with others you have specified. For instance the hollow point opening needs to be at least .020 inches smaller than the flat or meplat of the bullet tip. Otherwise the edge will be too thin and fragile around the hollow point, and will be deformed in handling. The ratio of length to diameter of the hollow point hole should be kept as low as possible, since small diameter, long HP punch tips become easy to break whereas larger diameter and shorter HP punches are stronger. The ogive shape should be appropriate for the weight range expected. Very long pointy ogives crease more mass than shorter ones in the same caliber. They can limit the minimum weight possible to unacceptable amounts if they are too long.
