This is a .630-inch long .40 caliber pistol jacket, suitable for 10mm, 40 S&W, 38-40 WCF, and can be redrawn to smaller diameter, slightly longer length, for odd size rifle bullets as well. They are packaged 250 in a bag. They have a .012-inch wall thickness, which provides good expansion at modest velocity. Use a .340 lead core wire, swaged in a core swage die up to around .355-inch diameter to fit into the jacket properly. This happens to be the size of a 9mm bullet so you could use a 9mm lead bullet as the core, if you wish. This jacket replaces the J-40-650 which has been discontinued.
