Diamond Edge Sharpening Fluid (pint container) is a high performance honing stone dressing, which lubricates and cools while enhancing the sharpening ability of the stone by infiltrating the surface with micron-sized diamond particles. Diamond Edge uses industrial diamond fines as well as cubic boron nitride particles in a special honing oil and cooling solvent solution. Spread a little sharpening fluid on the stone and stroke as usual to put a super-fine edge on all grades of steel alloys, including stainless steel, high carbon steel, and special knife and cutter blade alloys. Please note that the solution is flammable (it will burn) so refrain from using around open flame, sparking electrical sources, and other means of ignition. Use with adequate ventillation. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. The solution contains a light oil and a solvent as well as diamond particles. It is a nearly-clear or light amber color (the bottle is blue, but not the contents!).
