The .030 thick x 1.25 inch wide strip is used to make the
long thin-wall rifle jackets and large bore thin wall pistol jackets
such as the .50 AE. Typically a .308 x 1.25 inch long
rifle jacket, and similar .020-.026 mid-length wall jackets
would be made with this strip.
The 50-lb coils are easy to use on the auto-feeding
JMK-2-H jacket making kit with the CHP-1 Hydro Press. Other widths and thicknesses of copper strip are also listed and stocked
