CTJM-1-S tubing jacket maker set is used to makebullets jackets from copper tubing. Standard tubing outsidediameters of 1/4-inch, 5/16-inch, 3/8-inch, and 1/2-inch are used to make jackets for the entire range of calibersfrom .458 to .224. Each starting diameter makes calibersfrom the starting diameter itself down to the next startingdiameter, and requires a CTJM-1-S for the largest caliberin the range, plus additional JRD-1-S draw dies and certainpunches for other smaller jacket diameters. Tubing jacket makers consists of these items: End rounding die (marked JM)for the tubing size End rounding punch for a specific jacket length Jacket Reducing Die and punch for the caliber End closing punch (for use in CS die) Core Seating Punch to fit jacket ID Additional lengths of jackets can be made by ordering either additional specific length end rounding punches,or an adjustable length end rounding punch. Additional calibers within the range for the tubing sizecan be made by ordering additional JRD-1-S draw dies, andend flattening punches for each caliber desired. When thecaliber reaches the next size tubing, another CTJM-1-S setshould be used. Jacket maker sets are designed for use with known standardtubing, available from Corbin. The wall thickness, hardness,alloy, and diameter are closely controlled to work with the punch and die dimensions. Standard die sets are notguaranteed to work with other tubing. Custom die sets aremade to order for your sample tubing. To make custom dies,we need approximately 3 feet of sample tubing.
