CSL-2 is a pure natural swaging lubricant mixture that is used to reduce friction, wear and help prevent rust in bullet swaging and jacket drawing dies. Corbin Swage Lube can also be used as a case sizing and reloading lubricant. It has a high surface tension film that resists high pressures and does not diesel (or detonate) as do most petroleum based lubes. Yet, it washing off your hands easily with soap and water. CSL is applied to components by touching the lube to pick up a thin film on the fingertips and then simply handling the components as you insert them into the dies. In some cases (such as with copper tubing and jacket drawing) you may need to insure that there is a good lube film both inside and outside the tube. A swab stick is a good way to apply a film of lube inside a jacket or tube. CSL is a non-flammable, non-toxic natural lubricant based on purified anhydrous lanolin in a cosmetic grade. It is free of acids, and can be used to protect the dies for storage. Also available in 16-oz (pint) containers under catalog number CSL-16.
