This is 5-amp circuit breaker of the "aircraft" class, which controls power to the logic and control circuits in the Hydro-Press. In the event of a short circuit the breaker is designed to protect the wiring and the external source of power. The red button pops up to disconnect the power automatically from the logic relays, solenoid valve and other control circuits (but not the pump motor, fans, or light). The breaker has two terminals, which are interchangeable in function, and can be connected to either of the two wires leading to it. It is removed by unscrewing a locking ring on the top and then pushing the switch down or pulling it out from the bottom of the top panel. Pulling UP on the red button can manually disconnect power to the control system, as a precaution to help prevent unauthorized personnel from using the press. If you should find that the controls do not work even though the work lamp, fans, and pump motor run, try pushing down on the red button of this circuit breaker.
