CHP-B2 is an adapter for the head of any of the 1-1/2 inch by 12 turn/inch Corbin presses (the "H" series of presses, including Mega Mite CSP-2, Hydro-Press CHP-1, and Hydro-Mite CSP-2H) which allows the use of 1-1/4 x 12 thread dies. Because of the close diameters, the only way this works is by carefully synchronizing the inner and outer threads so the peak of one matches the valley of another, all the way, to maintain a constant wall thickness. Each part is individually lathe turned and threaded, tested and polished, then black oxide finished for rust resistance. Most reloading dies are 7/8-14, and the standard CHP-B bushing will adapt them to the larger H presses made by Corbin. Most of the RCBS and CH/4D 50 caliber reloading press dies are 1-1/2 x 12 thread, and require NO bushing in the Corbin H type presses. Only a few brands of 50 caliber reloading dies, a few shotgun reloading dies, and other unusual large calibers made by firms other than RCBS and CH/4D will require the use of the CHP-B2 adapter bushing. If you do not have any of these dies, then you probably don't need to order this accessory.
