CHF-128 Hydraulic Fluid is a grade AW-40 anti-foaming hydraulic oil for use in all Corbin hydraulic swaging presses. Do not use synthetic oils, brake fluid, or other densities of hydraulic fluid: incorrect fluid can damage the pump, valves and seals. Corbin hydraulic presses do not normally require addition of fluid, but fluid can be lost if components have been replaced or if the press has been tipped so that fluid leaks from the breather cap. Changing the filter can remove a small amount of fluid, which should be replaced. Filters normally last several years in the closed hydraulic system design of Corbin presses.
