BGK-1-S Base Guard Kit makes your choice of caliber of BG Disk using .030-thick x 1-inch wide copper strip, which is available from Corbin in 5-lb bundles or 50-lb coils. The BGK-1-S screws into the head of the S-Press, but from the bottom side of the press head. The slotted end faces the ram. The punch screws into the ram, and enters the slotted end first. The strip is fed through a slot in the side of the die. As the strip is moved along, the ram is stroked up and down to punch out BG disks, which emerge from the top of the die. The BGK-1-S is available in all diameters from .224 to .458 in the -S type die (and up to .90 caliber in the -H type die with 1-inch strip, or larger using special strip widths).
