This is a 243 (6mm) caliber 3-die set for making open tip, flat based bullets. You can add the LT-1-S lead tip die and make lead tip bullets, or you can add either the PUNCH-S 243 EXT CS LT-HP (lead tip hollow point) or the PUNCH-S 243 EXT CS OT-HP (open tip hollow point) punches to make the two kinds of hollow point styles. The die set, as it comes, makes open tip bullets, which simply means the core is seated inside the jacket. You can select 6-S, 8-S, or ULD ogive until the current inventory is sold out.
