This punch is used to draw fired .22 LR cases through the RFJM-22S die, in the CSP-1 press. It has a 5/8-24 threaded base which screws into the ram. One of these punches is furnished with the die. This is available as a replacement for lost or broken punches. There is also a .243 version for the RFJM-6MS 6mm jacket maker die, but it is entirely different. It fits into the floating punch holder, in the press head, while the die is in the press ram. This is because for 6mm, the 22 LR case is NOT pushed all the way through a die. It is only pushed in far enough to iron out the rim, and then is ejected leaving the body .223-224 diameter. However you CAN select .243 option from this listing, and you will get the punch that goes into the punch holder, rather than the one shown that screws into the ram for making 224 jackets.
