BSD-224R consists of a PF-1-R point forming die,
and a CS-1-R core seating die. This is the minimum number
of dies required to make a 224 jacketed rifle bullet with
a tangential ogive (spitzer nose). The set makes a bullet
with a 6-S ogive and flat base.
For higher weight precision, add the CSW-1-R core swage
die. The same die works for both .224 and .243, accepting
.185 diameter wire and producing a .190 diameter core of
precise weight which you can set by die adjustment.
For a factory-finished lead tip, add the LT-1-R lead tip
forming die. The lead tip die shapes the tip against a
punch cavity in the internal punch.
