The custom -HC punch is a solid, one-piece punch that is made to specified dimensions or requires special machining work and setup procedures beyond that of a normal or stock punch. An example would be a nose shape that is to customer dimensions rather than standard Corbin punch description (such as specifying the flat tip width in inches for a round nose punch rather than ordering a standard Corbin flat tip). If you wish to specify hollow point or base depth, shoulder width on a SWC nose punch, or a specific shape of nose or base, and this does not happen to be our standard shape at the time you order, then the punch would be custom.
