This is a gas check maker kit to produce .25 caliber gas
checks using .030 copper strip. The gas checks can be used
as bases on swaged or cast lead bullets, or they can be used
as partitions or seals within a .308-.311 diameter bullet
if the jacket walls are thin enough to accept the diameter.
There are two stages or steps, with two separate dies in the
set. First a disk is punched from the strip with the disk
cutter die. Then the disk is drawn into a cup in the
cupping die.
