This is a carton of 6,500 J-30-125 bullet jackets, which
are 1.25 inches long and .3065 inch diameter. The proper
diameter of core is .250 inches, and the core seating
punch diameter to maintain a pressure seal during the
jacket expansion is 0.2775 inches. The jackets have a
thinner, parallel section of wall in the first 25% of the
length, and then taper back to the base for the balance
of the lenght, for good expansion control.
