This jacket drawing die reduces a .358/.357 jacket to easily fit 9mm (355 or 354) bullet swage sets. Usually a 357 jacket is already small enough, being about .3535 to .354, but some are too large to work in 9mm dies. Corbin's standard commercial jackets for 38/9mm don't require reduction. Jackets made originally for either .358 rifle or perhaps specialized for .38 Special, or simply oversized runs, require this sort of reduction. Also if you have a jacket maker for 9.3mm or similar sizes, this draw die can extend the range downward and let you add 9mm.
