This is a 4-die set to make rebated boattail, open tip 6-S ogive rifle bullets in 338 caliber, ideal for hunting and for medium to long range target practice. The 6-S is the most standard of all rifle ogive shapes, because it works over a wide range of weights and rifling twists, feeds well in most actions, and provides a good compromise between stability and BC. Here is an image of different spitzer ogive shapes: Please note that the illustration shows lead tip bullets. This die set makes open tip bullets instead. But you can add lead tip bullet making by adding the LT-1-H 338 6-S die to your order!
