PF-1-SC custom point forming die has a specified bullet diameter other than the nearest standard size Corbin typically stocks, or specified shape other than the nearest standard shape such as 6-S or 1-E. You can further customize the die by adding the ability to form finished lead tips with a synchronized, honed-fit ejector punch, or by combining the weight adjusting ability of a lead semi-wadcutter die (bleed holes plus the sync-fit ejector punch so the die can be pressurized for extrusion). You can also specify a custom base shape other than the nearest standard shapes such as FB, CB, HB and BG bases. For instance, a heel-base or a cup or hollow base with your own specific dimensions for depth, width, and radius would be a custom punch for the base. Finally, you can specify a diameter other than standard, such as a 1.5-inch body size, in order to withstand higher than usual pressures for harder-to-form materials. Please note that you do NOT need to specify the sync-fit ejector punch in ADDITION to the bleed holes for weight adjustment of lead bullets, because the bleed holes require this feature in order to function properly so the punch cost is already included with the bleed hole option. Also, you do not need to pay the tooling fee again for a special diameter if you are getting a special shape. One set of tooling is required either way, which can make both the diameter and shape you desire. Likewise, if you get a custom shape, you do not also have to pay for special diameter, because it is one set of tooling for both. There is no savings in getting a standard shape with a custom diameter, or a standard diameter with a custom shape, for the same reason (it takes a set of reamers and laps either way).
