This is a package of 5 screw kits with 4-40 screw, brass press-in nut, and brass ferrule. The screw is a slotted fillister head style. If you don't specify length, or ask for one I don't have, I'll send either the 1-1/8 inch (which fits the most guns) or the next longer screw that I have available. You can always cut a long screw shorter, but it's hard to cut a short screw longer! These screw kits are for making handgun grips which can use a single mounting screw that passes through the grip frame, clamping the grips on the gun, as with most revolvers and some autoloaders. The press-fit nut and ferrule fit into 1/4-inch holes counterbored with a smaller hole for the No.4 screw to pass through. The brass nut and ferrule press-fit into these holes, with their splines digging into the material to keep the nut and ferrule from turning or coming out again.
