This is a carton of 6,500 J-30-115 bullet jackets. The
jackets are 1.15 inches long, and .3065 inch diameter.
The proper size of core is 0.250 inch diameter. The core
seating punch to maintain a pressure seal during jacket
expansion in a .308 core seating die is normally 0.2775
inch diameter. Jacket weight is 42.7 grains. Wall thickness
tapers from .014 to .021 at the base. A .264 core will just fit
into the jacket but a .250/.251 is better all around choice.
