This is a carton lot of 9,000 jackets, J-22-705, which is
normally sold in bags of 500. Stock up and save, especially
as copper prices continue to rise in the future!
The jackets are of the Corbin VB design with a thicker base
section and a parallel mouth section for controlled
expansion. They are .705 inches long, and .222 inch diameter
before the core is seated to expand them. A core seating
punch diameter of 0.2015 will maintain a pressure seal while
seating the jacket in a 224 core seater (which usually has
a bore of about .2238 inches). A core of .190 diameter
is a good fit.
