FX-1-S bullet fixer set is a combination of two dies, the BRD-1-S to slightly reduce a bullet and make it more round, and the FX-1-S bullet reforming die itself, which applies high pressure to the core to expand the bullet from the inside. The FX-1-S set is used to repair damaged bullets or to make pulled bullets more accurate. It is not for use on tracer, explosive, or other pyrotechnic bullets: such use could be dangerous. It may not work with bullets having steel or tungsten cores without a substantial lead sheath between the penetrator and the jacket, and will not work with solid copper or brass bullets. The shape of the bullet can be modified within certain limits, such as making a blunt bullet more sharply pointed. The FX-1-S is for flat base bullets.
