CDL-4 Corbin Dip Lube is a synthetic polarized wax
in an aqueous base, which drys to a clear wax film on
the surface of lead or jacketed bullets. It has been called
"liquid jacket", as it helps reduce leading and friction.
Dip Lube is applied by dipping, spraying, or rolling the
bullets on a saturated pad. When dry in about 10-15 minutes,
the lube forms a film that resists fouling up to about 1400 fps on
soft lead bullets. It also protects jacketed bullets from
corrosion, and is useful for inventory stored in humid
climates or salt air environments.
Dip Lube has a mild, fruity odor and is safe to ship and
store as it will not burn in its liquid form. This is an
improvement of the previous formula, which was
flammable and had restricted shipping.
